New Quicksilver Bellows Adhesive?

I just opened a new tube that appears to be amber-brown in color. It appears to be working correctly but my last tube of this adhesive, I believe was almost clear material. Shelf life on box states 1.5 years but there is no mfg date on box or tube. I have spent a fortune refurbishing an antique SR and I do not want any leaks. Quicksilver may have changed formula, or I may be remembering incorrectly. Anyone else used this adhesive and if so, what was color? THX!

3M Weatherstrip adhesive works just as well, Anything leaking is the mechanics responsibility not the adhesives used

It’s brown/amber in color

Ayuh,...... I've seen amber merc glue, never clear,.....

Weather strip adhesive is usually amber or black,....

Contact adhesive, amber,.....
