New Quicksilver gimbal bearing question

What I ordered was part number 879194A02, and what I received is an 879194A02, but there is no hole in the bearing...the one that you're supposed to line up with the gap in the tolerance ring then line up with the grease fitting.

Is the new Quicksilver gimbal bearing sealed? I don't want to tear into the instruction sheet in the plastic pouch to find out because that might render it un-returnable.

Thanks,
Nate

So, do I still line up the gap in the tolerance ring with the grease hole, or do I no longer have to grease it? I'll bet the answer is on that piece of paper in the plastic pouch.

Thanks, guys.

It is.... Give me a couple of minutes and I'll go find one of those sheets and scan and post it here if you like....

EDIT: Sorry, must have thrown the last one out. Basically it says this is the new, non-greaseable bearing, you don't need to align any holes, but you do need to remove the old grease nipple and fit the supplied SS plug (uses an allen key)...

Found many gimbal bearings just by walking into Bearing stores and laying it up on the counter. Forget right now but most are made by Timken. Don't like seal bearings, but that's the way it is going these days

Yeah. Saw that. WTH? Tamper-proof #20 Torx? Not included in kit? I can just imagine the special ops frogmen swimming to my boat that is anchored close to Flounders, and while I'm slurping Diesel Fuel (very strong, fruity drink served in a plastic quart jar), they attempt to screw out the plug, but are thwarted.
