new/rebuilt carb

hey i have a 1987 merc 165 4cyl motor and looking to rebuild the carbs.. i called a few shops by me and price is around 160 plus the rebuild kit...i was just online and saw a site that sells the carbs already built? i was wondering if i should just purchase online the carb its pretty much the same price in the end. also do u think they will be tuned correctly? any ideas which way i should go about this? heres the carbs link... http://www.flyingfishcarburetors.com/Y38Mercarb.htm

I was just going to ask the same question. Trying to figure to go rebuild existing carb or go with a new one? I hope you get some good advice.

Before I rebuild a carb I like to see the boat first, run it, and make sure the throttle shafts aren't leaking. It's not something that be checked when a shop is handed a carb.
