The future wife bought me a 7'Gloomis rod and a new curado :D I can barly wait to get out on the water.just had to share.

LOL@JB I guess she does like older men i'm 11 years older than her,as for rent it would be pricey :D

The only bad thing about your wife buying you gifts like that is now she knows what that kind of stuff really cost. :eek: <br /><br />Thats a fine combo, hope it will improve your fish catching abilities. :D

Reel poor she already knew when we first started dating she went to bass pro with me,i was low on all kind of terminal tackle and plastics,she about sh#t when we cheacked out,but i thought my fishing was expensive she just got into scrapebooking and jumped in with both feet that stuff high priced for what it is.<br /> heycods a got some of them soaks too.<br /> :) :)

My wife got me a cookbook, knife, fry pans, micro plane and a harmonica????? I wonder if I will get any fishing in next summer?<br /><br />PS. You don't suppose the harmonica is for the blues do you?

Nice combo you got there the curados are smooth, but a bit heavy for my tastes. You should check out the 100s.

"ALL FISHING REELS ARE HEAVY" The 100 I was refering to is the Curado 100. <br /><br />Your missinformed then Not all reels are heavy. <br />I own a Scorpion MG 1001 with a Carbon handle and Cork knobs. which is 6.2 Ozs <br />A Daiwa ITO AI which is 6ozs<br />and a Daiwa Pixy with Carbon handle and cork knobs. which is 5.6 ozs and they are far from heavy. <br />And if thats not lite enough, a Daiwa Presso is 5.5 ozs or so and can throw 1-4lb line. <br /><br />Japantackle.com
