new switch box

[jet4x4]

Just replaced switch box on 95,60hp.mariner,has an extra black/w yellow wire,female connector,ever other wire used,and runs much higher idle,anything to worry about?

The manual I have only goes to '93, but the wiring diagram shows the Black/Yellow female not connected to anything.<br /><br />Jerry
