5 blade Stainless Hi Five 13.5 x 19 prop #48-815758
Doel Fin Original installed
Gear Ratio 1.47

WOT throttle is 4400 - 4800 RPM

The boat will travel at @ 45 MPH with three aboard, but has lots of throttle left when at 4400 RPM at 2,000 feet elevation and pretty much the same at 600ft.

I suspect that this prop will exceed the 4800 RPM limit at WOT.

It preforms well with 8 people aboard and a single adult water skier.

Performance is not my question.

If I continue to run this prop but do not exceed the 4800 RPM, will I damage the outdrive or engine in any manner?

Thanks for any insights

As long as you stay within the rpm range your ok.
If the motor is healthy take it up there momentarily see what it does.

Ok, that is what I suspected but do not want a new engine so thought I should ask. Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks for the clarification.
