I bought a 2011 Lowe Suncruiser 20' for a song. eIt has a few electrical issues (no working nav or docking lights), some of the gauge lights are dead. Stereo speakers are goners (they weren't even marine speakers).
I have purchased new nav and running lights and I could install them right now, but I'm worried the power wires might be corroded. The ends are slightly exposed and corroded a bit. I plan on soldering the wires coating the connection with dielectric grease and then shrink wrapping them, (No more exposed spade connectors here). What is a good wire to use for the underside of the pontoon boat that will be exposed to salt water?
