New (to me) toy -17ft reinel

Here is my newest toy. 1979 17ft reinel. 115hp merc motor that runs like a top. 120# compression on all cylindars. Has new water pump, starts right up with key. Interior is all red (a lot of red!) but has been very well taken care of. no rips, tears, or sun damage of any kind. The boat has zero rot in it, always been under cover. taking her out tomorrow for the first time. best part about it, the whole thing was only $600! the guy was moving out of state and wanted it gone.

Title? What title? HAHA, just kidding. yep i got clean titles for the boat and trailer. I have a galvanized trailer I am going to swap the boat onto. I will sell that green trailer then, and should recoup most of that $600 if not all of it.

here are a few more pics.

the boat has a few issues to work out. I think the carbs need to be rebuilt, cause it had no power at all on the water. all the compression is good though.

exscuse the mess in the boat, we are still getting it all setup.

If it needed a new carb, it was still a good buy!! That's a nice looking boat.
