i have a 19’ i/o spectrum thy we are replacing the floor.
I cant seem to get a search function to work for this specific topic and this site is huge.
Can anyone help get me onto a couple posts that are directly related?

:welcome: to iBoats.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the need to replace the floor? You will find similar threads in the restoration/repair section of the forum. However, often when folks go to replace the floor in their boat, they find that a lot more than the floor needs replacing.

The last thing to rot after the transom, stringers, and bulkheads is the floor

Welcome to iBoats :thumb:
Here's a search for "replace floor" in the Restoration forum:

https://forums.iboats.com/search?se..._type":["vBForum_PrivateMessage"]}&btnSubmit=

Hopefully that link works, but also note along with the others who have posted already, how many of the original posters of the threads start out replacing the floor, only to find rotted stringers and transoms after pulling up the floor. As they say, hope for the best, but plan for the worst. :joyous:

These forums are covered up with replacing floors, stringer, bulkheads and for sure transoms. Start with the restoration/repair section like tpenfield referenced to, and start reading. That section is covered up with so many doing just that and more. And there are tons of pictures to boot too...

Thanks for the quick reply!!
I think we will be okay as it is a low hour boat , all aluminum with solid stringers, of what I can see through the engine bay and ski locker anyways.
Again thanks and I look forward to reading your posts.
