Just bought this boat and have a question or two. The Model number is CE50BEC0B, making it an 85 50HP, if I have my info correct. The VRO pump on it does not have any electrical lines going to it. I have just cleaned the carbs today, and the little bugger started right up. My question is regarding HOW the VRO actually works. When I pull the line off of it from the oil tank, it smells an awful lot like mixed fuel to me, and doesn't have the thickness I think it should have to be straight oil. The fellow I bought it from claims he got it with his house, and has never run it. It has a standard fuel tank connected as well, and is pulling fuel into the filter housing. Could this guy have run a mixed tank (a small one, as it's the original oil tank I believe), AND a straight gas tank inline with each other? I am not an outboard expert, and have never worked on an oil injected one before.
Any help would be appreciated

Not 100% sure what you are asking, but the VRO pump is actually and air operated pump, run from pulses from the crankcase, so as such, it does not have 'wires" to run it.
