Hello,

Recently i posted a post about my manual trim

"
Hello,
Recently my trim pump went dead, I have put my motor up with the manual release vaulve and with the bracket. Now when I want to put my motor back down, it only goes down to the end of the tilt. How can I lower the two trim pegs, they are completely in the up position, I have no idea how they went up.

"

My new trim motor arrived today and I mounted it on the unit. When I trimed up and the tilt moved up and then nothing more.
The trim engine is running but the pistons do not move. Do I have to bleed the system in any way or add oil because there was alot of oil in my old trim pump due a bad seal I think. The oil level is almost full.

Regards,

Jasper

If I understand your statement correctly, you have replaced the electric motor on the trim pump but not the pump it self?

If this is the case I would say your pump needs a rebuild or replacement

I did turn the manual vaulve back in. The pump was working perfectly before the motor stopped working but the oil in the pumpnis very dark and old. There is no water inside, I think I am going to send it for cleaning and draining.
