I have a 17' Kingfisher bass boat with an Evinrude 150<br />The trolling motor that was on it when I bought it was 37 lb-thrust motorguide. It did not push it very well. I recently bought an All-Terrain Minn Kota 70lb. thrust. I figured this would make an extreme difference, but it really didn't--there may have been a slight difference. My batteries were fully charged prior to the trip. I'm not sure what to make of this...am I wrong in assuming that there should have been a huge difference? Any help would be great.
