Hi,

I recently purchased a new vro/oms pump to replace a malfunctioning pump(not pumping fuel).
I have 50:1 mixed in the permanent fuel tank.I was wondering if I can plug the oil side on my new pump without damage until I run out the fuel mix.I know this procedure is common but I'm just a little leary doing it on a brand new(expensive)unit. After I burn up about 30gals. I plan to use the oil tank.Any suggestions or reccomendations are appreciated.Thanks.
pt.#5004559

keep burning premix. mark the oil tank and make sure its using oil. 30 gallons wont hurt it.
good luck and maybe decarb it when your all done.

Factory recommendation is to run premix in the tank as well as the new "VRO-OMS" pump until you are certain that oil is being used from the remote oil tank.
