Newb Question about Covers

This is my first year as a boat owner, and I have some newb questions about covers. I will be storing my boat (Larson 234 Escape) in my driveway during the boating season.

1. My boat comes with snap-on covers for the bow and cockpit. Are these sufficient for driveway storage?
2. I see a lot of covers (mooring covers?) that are one piece and cover the entire boat, below the rub-rail. Are these better for driveway storage?
3. Do most people use both the snap-on bow/cockpit covers AND a mooring cover at the same time? I realize it would be some extra work to put two layers of covers on. Is there any benefit or drawback to doing so?
4. What is the best way to prevent the sun from fading the hull? Seems like a cover would only protect part of the hull.

Thanks!

Re: Newb Question about Covers

1. for short term

2. for long term

3. depending on the type....sunbrella streches and the other shrinks.....if its the vynal stuff....yes....use it. if ifs sunbrella....it cant hurt.

4 cover the hull.....but sun fade is going to happen. it started the day the hull left the mold at the factory
