Newbie advice on tune up.....

Howdy,
I just got new plugs, cap and rotor for my 1986 CC, with a 260HP motor.
Plugs and cap seem easy enough, but how do I get off that rotor????

Also, there is a sensor in there for the electronic ignition. I have not had any issue with it, but how often should that be replaced? Should I use stock parts or is there a "upgrade"?

The rotor has glue (Sealant) on it to keep water out of the shaft. You'll most likely have to break it off, i cut mine with dikes until it broke free.
