Hi all,just bought my first boat a 1967 Silverline Deville with a mercruiser 120 i/o.I wanted a project boat and I got one!The guy I bought it from had it for about a year,he never took it out.He didn't know anything about it or its condition,anyway I bought it $500 with a nice Long trailer.Got it home and started poking around and found a couple of soft spots.For the last month or so i've been scanning this forum and seen many posts on soft spots in the decking.I started to investigate and sure enough the deck is bad.So taking all the info i've learned on this forum I started right in,its gonna be a big job but it will be worth it when i'm done.I'm posting some starting pics and with continue to do so as I progress.I'm thankful I had this forum to refer to.
