Hi all im a newbie to boating and this forum, i have inherited a 1960 Arkansas Traveler with a 40 hp evinrude lark II. boat and motor have sat for at least 10 yrs, i want to fire up the engine and dont know jack all about outboards. can anyone give me some tips as to where to start to get the motor fired up? as well do i need to have a battery hooked up to fire it? Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks Chimo
