Hi - newbie to Volvo Pentas and this forum, so please forgive the question...
...is a 2014 V8-300-C sterndrive NMEA 2000 ready, or do I need to buy some kind of interface? I want to connect a Garmin multifunction display to the motor to get fuel burn rates etc.
I've been searching all over and have not found a straight answer. Some sites indicate a Garmin GFS 10 Fuel flow sensor would need to be installed (required cutting into the fuel line), but others indicate the engine already has an NMEA interface, yet I can't find anything on it in the manual.
Any help would be most appreciated!
