yep, that's the ticket. good idea. i do that too.I used stabil in fuel last fall.
so why ya gonna do that? stabil is used to preserve the fuel over winter lay up so ya can use it next season. i'm stored full and plan on using that (last seasons stabil treated fuel) fuel first. sometimes i'll run it down close to empty then i'll have pretty much fresh fuel the next tank. other times i introduce new fuel at half empty or so. i've never seen any difference in the way it ran with either or method.I plan to drain the tank and add new fuel
i don't add anything to my new fuel.... short of lead additive for my engine that want's premium leaded fuel. and even that is debateable as to whether it does anything for me other than add to the expense of the fuel.should I add sea foam or stabil to the new fuel OR?
