Hi fairly new to I/O's. I have a 96 Cobalt 4.3LXH.

Just put new water pump in and had new bellows installed, so this is the first time fired up this year. Put the mufflers on and turned on the water, let it run for about a minute or so then started the engine.
Question, is it normal for it to take 30 secs or so to get water to come out of the back? I think block was dry, and it seemed as if no water went into it until I started the engine. Is that normal?
So it ran without water coming out of the rear for 1/2-1 minute and you could tell by the exhaust it was dry. Then all seemed ok.

After (of course) doing the water pump, I found the TSB about GenII water pump corrosion. Mine wasn't that bad, but of course you always question it after the fact. Anything to worry about or will it show up under normal useage?
Thanks,
Jeff
