Newbie Questions

Hello iboats.com! I am new to the boat ownership world and have made my first purchase (1986 Bayliner Capri/60hp Evinrude outboard). I am looking for resources to a parts diagram for the interior and possibly websites for parts.
Can anyone help me with locating these resources? Thanks for your time and we'll be talking again soon!!

Welcome to iboats!!

There really are no resources for a 1986 boat and most of the parts for the interior are no longer available and rarely will you find an OEM part.

iboats is probably the absolute best resource and if you are planning to restore...... this restoration section is the best available! You will find people here with a similar boat and everyone helps each other out. The knowledge base and the skill sets available are the best.

To look up parts for your motor, you can go here and see exploded parts diagrams right out of the service manual:

If you want to get your OEM service manual for your motor (and you should), go on eBay and try to find a used one cheap. If you have no luck there, you can buy a reprint of it at:
