I just bought my 1st boat last fall. I have lurked on these forums for awhile, and even posted a few questions at the end of last season. <br /><br />My boat is a 1990 Wellcraft with a Mercruiser 3.7 Alpha one. I know Trent doesn't like these, but my alum prop is chewed up and I need a replacement. The stealership wants $400.00. 
I see s.s. ones on iboats.com for around $200. For cruising, tubing, kneeboarding, and skiing, what prop do I want? It's my first boat ever....and though I read up on pitch, diameter, etc, I'm still confused about the options. The paper work says that my RPM range should be 4,400 - 4,800 rpm. <br /><br />Any recomendations? Please?
