Hey, new here from Alabama. Have a quick question. I just bought an Elgin boat trailer, model #254-54542. I'm wanting to fix it up and use it to haul my canoe, kayak, and camping stuff. Therefor, I think I may have to register it as a utility trailer. I wouldn't worry about it so much in Alabama, but I'm planning a trip across several states next year and don't want to deal with cops everywhere. Does anyone know what year this model was manufactured and laws going from state to state? OK, not a quick question. Thanks
