Well, the Vikings played the 1st half. Had a whole 26, or was it 27:rolleyes:, yards in the second half. Was a really nice day here, so the wife and I went for a cruz in the GTO during the 2nd half. Glad we did. Took a big hit in my fantasy picks too. W/L record was about average to the rest, but boy did I have alot of points on my losses....

I'm not to happy to be a Cheifs fan right now!!! On the bright side my fantasy team did quite well. Won my first week.

I understand the networks are planning local black-outs of all chiefs games to save fans the agony of watching them play! <grin>

Re: NFL - Week 1

NY Giants were pitiful and didn't correct any of the issues they had last year. Gave up points on turnovers, couldn't convert third downs for short yardage, and gave up a ton of passes over the middle cuz our linebackers cannot cover backs or TE's downfield.

The best part of the game was the opening ceremony, and the rest went downhill fast after that!

Hoping for a little more effort and less mistakes next week on Monday Night. I am usually asleep by 9pm, so they better make staying up worth my while!!!

Well Fox sports have them as the worst team in the NFL so I won't mind that

Re: NFL - Week 1

The Patriots came out on top as they took on the Dolphins in Miami. Brady passed over 500 yards breaking two records. Had to be his best game of his career.

Ochocinco was never a factor in the game only being used once and gained 14 yds. He was in awe over Brady's performance according to his facebook blog. This guy just is not with the team and playbook. As one X Patriot player said, "Ochocinco is not a fan, he is a player and his head should be in the game."

Raider's are 1-0 and at the top of their Division. If they ever, and I truly mean "ever" find a way to quit making dumb penalties, they might be a force again.
