Well, the Vikes are 2 - 0 since the firing of Childress. Granted, they played Washington and Buffalo. But, the mood in the locker room had to of changed for the better. Now if we can get Brett benched. Never gonna happen. Need to keep that streak alive!

Giants are in town this weekend. We'll see now if that new "mood" translates into another win.... Gonna be a tough game.

Your team did what?

Glad Rice is back........

Well the Bears beat a team with two wins by four points.
And it was actually on my tv for once.

It wasn't pretty but their 9-3.

As I say every week the Bears do it with defense and are inconsistent on offense. Even at 9-3 they are not being taken seriously. It's a crapshoot every week.

Don't get me wrong I cheer on the Bears (unless they ever play the Steelers) and will be during the Patriots game. They happen to be my fantasy defense too. I just think that the Patriots are back in business and are (and I hate to say this) going to be representing the AFC in the super bowl (now I have a nasty tast in my mouth).

As for the Vikes man I hope they can turn things around. To go from what they were a year ago to this. I think it might be time for the F word to finally get out of the game and go be 1 of the hundred announcers.

MOST OF ALL GO STEELERS!!!!!!!:D

There were other games this past weekend besides the Steelers?

Giants won convincingly over the lowest ranked defense, so I am not sure it tells me anything. Meeting the Vikes in Minn on Sunday. Being on the bubble for a playoff spot makes every game a must now.

Jets big loss has made my AFC buddies alot quieter this week.:D

Re: NFL Week 13

Almost surely going to be Pats and Steelers vying for the AFC title.

As laughable as they are, I think the Bears do have a shot against the Patriots. The Bears can get to the QB--which is the only thing that can slow down the Pats' offense. And, notwithstanding the Chargers' pathetic showing last week :( , the Pats' D is nothing to write home about. So a little freaky Bears luck on both sides of the ball, and who knows?

End of the day, defense wins championships. I predict Steelers over Packers in a low-scoring SB.

Re: NFL Week 13

Watched some of Favre's interview on ESPN yesterday. Said he didn't know yet if he would be able to go and wouldn't unless he felt he could perform and play the whole game. Claimed he really didn't care about the 300 mark. He pretty much declined to display his range of motion and I suspect he doesn't have much. I still think he will find a way to start but all in all it didn't really sound promising.

Not a lot of Patriot followers, it would seem, but thats ok. I've seen them
through all the crappy years (alot of them..almost all of them)
They played a beaut of a game on Monday. We needed this game, not so
much for standings, but as a statement to the Jets. Tommy was on the ball,
and everyone stepped up, Woodhead, Welker, Branch...it was alright!
Bears this weekend, and they're on a roll, so like Bill says, one game at a time.

Scipper77- Believe me, we take you seriously. I'm sure Bill is wondering
how to stop Peppers' rush. You guys are on a roll. Wasn't
sure if your QB was going to wake up this season or not, but he has taken a beatin'
for sure...
Good luck man,
Kerry

Re: NFL Week 13

The only reason there are not a lot of Patriot fans is that no body likes a consistant winner. An opposing teams coach should never say that they have a better team, at least not when they are going to play the Patriots as the jets found that out.

Looking at the jets, they were very, very lucky to win their previous last three games winning only when there were seconds left to play the game. Yes, a win is a win.

I have already stated where the Patriots are headed this year.
