Another loss, but very happy with the performance of the rookie Ponder. His first NFL start. 2 TDs, over 200 yds. Completion percentage wasn't staggering, but all in all he did very well. Gives us Viking fans something to look forward to in the coming weeks. Jenkins had over 100yds and Adrian had a very good day with 175yds.

Game went down to the wire. Gave the Packers a run for their money....;)

Still need lots of work in the defensive secondary....

And, as a bonus, I just heard on the local news the Vikings leads the league in arrests since 2000 with 36. A player was arrested this week which broke the record of 35.

Re: NFL - Week 7

I'm in Milwaukee and naturally am a Packer fan. However:

I agree that Ponder did a good job. He saw the field better than some of the guys who have been in the league for several years. If they can keep him upright for a while he looks to have a chance to be a good one.

Do need to give Ponder a lot of credit, a rookie taking on the #1 ranked team in the NFL. Even tho he did not win he gave Green Bay a run for the money. He will keep getting better and looks like Minn will have a future. :)

Ehh, I think they need another washed up, old QB. I'll bet Jeff George is available! LOL
They should have never signed McNabb, a huge waste of money - but I'm sooo glad they did. LOL

GO BEARS!
