Ponder gained some good experience again today and also pulled off a win! He was 18/28, 64% for 236yds and 1 TD which gave him a QB rating of 102. I'll take it......

Adrian also had a good day. Rushed for 86 and had 76 passing yds.

The secondary still needs to step it up a notch or two.......

Came close to having a bunch of upsets today.....

Stiller looked good, Bears had a bye, Cowboys were beaten soundly by another PA team ... not a bad day.

Re: NFL - Week 8

I feel pretty good for our local team, the Bills as well as the Lions. With there wins this week I think that both teams are the real deal, and able to come back from a loss or two after there fantastic starts.

As a Bears fan I am discouraged. How can we even get a wildcard spot with Green Bay a shoe in to win the division and Detroit showing that they have what it takes to win games. Chicago's best bet would be two wild cards from the same division which is a rarity. It sucks because they are a pretty good team this year. They just happen to be in an outstanding division.

My team is the Bengals. They have been a pleasant surprise this year (with a rookie quarterback and rookie wide receiver). Sometimes its best to shed the players that "think" they are super for the ones that want to become super.
