Night Lighting Questions

Ready to start wiring the extra stuff. Everyone has been so helpful with the major wiring but I have to ask before I buy.

Want to add a live well light (2 ft x 1.5 ft x 2 deep), what color seems to work best to keep the bait alive and not blind me at night ?

Also adding LED step lights and exterior compartment lights. I know from experience that red light is best but how much will amber lights mess with my night vision ? Any Ideas ?

I try to keep everything I can see while running the boat Red. Even the stern white all around navagition/Anchor light. Yes it is white but it is mounted so the white light will not hit anything in front of the helm including the front deck. Lights that light up boat stern area or a live well on my boat are mostly white.
