Hello BUCKETMOUTH,
Can you be a little more spacific? What is it doing? Is it just slow out of the hole or will it not plane at all? What is the make and model of the motor? Is it missing or just seem low on power?
Let us know,
Teddy

no loss of power on the engine its a 115 mercury elpto. it has a jacking plate 7". if i move someone a few steps forward it goes down and STAYS on plane. I have more of a problem with a full fuel tank and or full live wells.

Just a guess here but it sounds like a fuel supply problem (starving when it is under most load, but adequate to get almost top end after it gets on plane and load decreases). Do you have anything stored in rear compartments you could move up front to help distribute wieght more evenly (anchor, tackle maybe even batteries)?

it seems like everything is stored in the rear, batteries fuel water in live wells 35 gallons.

I'm not sure what its called but is the pin at the bottom of the bracket stopping the motor before it trims all the way down?

I've got a NITRO with a 90hp johnson. My pin just has a little keeper on it that you have to raise to pull the pin through the holes. mine is in the back hole closest to the boat the motor doesnt even touch it when it is trimmed all the way down.

does your boat take a minute to plane, or have you ever had planing problems with the live wells filled.

I am actually having a similar problem right now.I think mine is electrical though because I have some other problems also. But when it was running right it came up pretty good. Mine is a 16 ft boat and I think yours is bigger but yours should come up easily.

go down in prop size & a ss prop / or try a same size ss prop instead of a alumnium prop
