No alarm sound

Hi,
I looked at a 1992 115 Merc last night. Does this motor have an alarm that beeps when you turn the ignition on? I'm used to my Evinrude that chirps when I turn the key.

It has a warning module. It's up to the boat or controls or dash to have the actual buzzer/beeper (piezo) unit.

Hi,
It's on a Sea Ray 180, a complete package from the factory. It has a volt meter, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge. Does this help?

Look for something that looks like this in the dash behind the gauges:

If it has one check the wiring to make sure it's hooked up. After that you can check voltages.
