no anti fouling paint

what can I paint the bottom of a 1990 mako with besides anti fouling paint boat WILL NOT sit in water more than a day or 2 thanks for any help

For that sort of time in the water just use topside paint meant for below the waterline. There are many manufacturers... Awlgrip, interlux to name two. also gel-coat is an option. Why do you need to repaint the bottom anyway?

many here will know better than me though.

Hi Last One... welcome to iBoats!

I'm not sure you "have" to use antifouling. In any case, it is up to you to decide how to protect your hull from the environment.

Not much help in actually answering your question (since I see you asked it on 2 different threads). Perhaps this is primarily necessary for large steel hulled boats/ships.

I have the original paint that my boat came with and the only problem i see is it gets a little dirty depending on where i leave it.. but a quick wash down when i take it out and its back to normal.. it will not hurt the boat

Ayuh,... My tinbarge is bottom painted with plain ole Rustoleum grey enamal...

And it sits at the dock from early May to late October or later... Still in right now anyways....
