I have a pos.and neg on adapter and went red to pos.and then to fuse panel blade fuse the white wire to a top row of connectors(neg) I think . should be from what I was told. I had power for awhile then nothing....after that happed I
have no horn, bilage pump, nav. lights or f/f and they all go to the fuse panel... did I fry the fuse panel? of is there a fuse i'm not seeing. looked at all fuses I could see and they all looked good , couldn't see to much under the gunnel ....to many wires .

You blew the fuse or popped the breaket at the battery.

A small metal box about 1-inch long and loacted within a foot from the positive battery post. same location for a fuse.

silvertip..thankyou ...thankyou... yup you where right ....there was 2 fuses..1 5A and a 20A.... the 20 was blown .
this saved me some $$$ from having some one to look at it and now I don't have to tell the wife....lol. i'm learning little at a time now I know where to look if this happens again.

another question..... since I used a 15 A for what I was doing and it blew...then used a 30 A and that blew . what if I where to use a 20A (same as the main) do you think that will be ok ? or should I just run a dedicated wires with a inline fuse to the pos.and neg. on the battery?

Re: no assories NEED HELP

You need to size the fuse to the capacity of the wires or, in this case, the power outlet, whichever is LOWER. Most power outlets are rated for 10 amps, although some have higher capacity.

plan B. ran 14G red from adapter to inline 20A to the positive of battery then ran 14G white from adapter to neg terminal on fuse panel. it works this way. if this blows hopefully not, i'll know where the fuse is this time.
