You couldn't even make your way in CA if you started that. This is south to north:

San Diego, San Clemente, San Onofre, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, San Pedro, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, San Simeon, San Jose, San Francisco . . . I am sure I have left out about oh, prawly . . . 25.

Actually a pretty good point tx. I am heading out to the ACLU after lunch!!! That should keep them out of our hair for a while.

Re: No Christian references allowed

Funny you note that, theriver. I posted on another thread the name for some winds we get here in the fall and winter. I used Santana winds. They are now referred to as Santa Ana winds apparently because some Chritian groups were offended by the Santana to devil connection . . .

Regardless, whether you admit it or not everyone follows a "religion". So I guess you could say you suffer the same disorder as the rest of us.

The EU has put their constitution on hold for now. Anyone care to guess why?

I think Bill Maher is an idiot!!!!  Like many liberals, he is just plain smarter than the rest of us, just ask him. I know I was just like him once ;)

Naming a wind after the devil dosn't hurt me and neither does naming a city after Saints or Angels.

Same old crap. If you can't come up with a logical argument make stupid assertions about it.

Don't get all bent just fun to think of names of things we have taken from Christianity. Pretty cool when you consider how Christ is in our lives even when we don't notice. Yep that is ole liberal me saying this.

Re: No Christian references allowed

No, they were originally called Santana winds. It is not about the band. I just did a bunch of searching on it and I now am uncertain of the reason it became Santa Ana Winds or Santa Anas. They definitely blow through the Santa Ana Canyon which is cut by the Santa Ana River that runs through Santa Ana. I am dropping the PC story, although I swear I was told that or read that somewhere. Probably a troll . . . :D

There were a bunch of articles that said that they were named Santana after the Spanish for Devil Winds although this is not a correct translation. Spanish for Satan is Satana not Santana.

Those places were in Mexico, a Catholic state, when named.
