OMC 400 3.8 chev. 1984 While in yard, replaced starter then started engine and warmed it up. Wanted to flush it. Gave it some gas and everything went dead- motor, dash lights, trims. horn etc.. Went behind the motor...there is a silver box with forward and reverse on it (cables move it). 2 swiches are on it, the one on right has short movement, the one on left moves 3". I pushed the one on left and power came back on twice. Turned off again when I hit tilt then starter. Can you guys help me?? (First Boat)
