I have two 1992 Evinrude 225 engines. The port engine has had several ignition problems this year. I replaced the regulator which did not cure all. I have replaced the flywheel and stator three weeks ago. With the new stator the engine fired immediately and was used off shore for a full day. It was run for short periods several times after that. This engine has also been the hardest to start of the two. Now there is no fire at all. Is it likely that the failure of the flywheel(magnets moved), Stator(melted) and regulator have just cascaded downward leading to the failure of the Power Pack.<br /><br />Thanks, Mike Romedy
