No fire

Motor was running and shut off like Kill switch tripped. Checked that still not spark. install new stator still no spark. Tried to chck spark with screwdriver still no spark. I have a fluke meter but do not know what ohms to test Stator,or trigger. Looked at several post but only more confused now. Any suggestions other than a outboard mechanic.

Fogot to say this is a Mariner 60 Hp about a 94 year model with power trim. Also replaced spark plugs and checked all connections.

I had somewhat the same problem. If your motor has a switch box, try replacing it. It doesnt hurt to take your coil pack off and having it checked out either.
