no fire

I have a 1973 85 horse Johnson and I have replaced power pack,stator,and the rectifier, I have taken the black and yellow wire off also and no fire. If anyone could help with something else to check please respond. I havent replaced the ignition switch yet. Thanks

heh you beat me, I was gonna say to trade it quick for a 1973 80hp Merc so I could help.<br /><br />-W
