I have a 40 gale. Have no fire
at the plugs any suggestions.

It won't fix itself. You have to go in and see what's wrong with it. "In", meaning pull the flywheel. The ignition system is below it.

I kinda figured it wouldnt fix it self was just wondering if it was most likely going to be onne part or another that most likely going to be the cause. But thanks for the responce.

Both coils and both condensors are bad.

And since we don't know the year model, it could be a simple as dirty points...or as common as cracked coils, pitted points and a bad condensor or two. Only way to tell is pull the flywheel.

Sorry guys it is a 1965. Also thanks for the info ill start with that. any other info on this is greatly appreicated. Just trying to get this old beast running right. I dont want to get out there and be dead in the water. Sence i dont know much about this motor is there anything else i should be ready for. Thanks again, Marc

We need the model number, Starfire, so we know who made it. JohnnyRude parts fit some, Chrysler parts fit others.
