I have a 90 model maxxum boat with a 120 horse I/O mercury L-drive and it is not getting fire to the cylinders - this problem had been on again off again for a little while now it seems to be just off! - this model has no distributor - has a control box for spark control as far as i can tell - is there anything other than that control box that would stop fire from getting to the plugs - it appears to have an individual coil for each cylinder so im guessing that is probably not the problem (possible though i guess) Im new to boats and they seem to be a very different animal from cars etc.
Thanks yall for your help with this - this site is a great resource thanks to all of yall that are here to help.

NOVABRG-> When you say you bypassed the kill switch.. how exactly did you do that? (I'm having trouble with my 1990 Maxxum 1800XR w/85 hp force and am not getting ANY fire on any cyl. Wondering if the kill switch could be my problem.

Thanks,
AS
