Hi all I have an Australian Mustang 2400 Mercruiser 5.0 MPI
176 hours ( on the ecu)
scanner
she hasn’t been started in many many months
kept on a trailer
I’ve attached an aux fuel tank
1. turn key ( no pump prime noise)
2. getting a long audible after turning motor over - and not firing up
Q. Most common cause for no fuel ?
I’ve check the 3 blade fuses - tick
haven’t checked if the relays are clicking on turn key yet
is fuel blockage an issue - should I change out the primary Screw in fuel filter ?
is this model attached to the oil pressure switch - cutting off 12v to the fuel pump?
Fuel pump is on starboard side - very tight fit ... is it an engine out job -
