No impeller in Volvo AQ 280?

Well, i have taken the leg apart for the first time, mainly to get it ready for paint, but have heard that i should replace the impeller well its apart. But i cannot find the impeller in the leg anywhere! IT doesnt even show it in the seloc manual? Is that why my engines have raw water pumps?

the impeller is on the front of the harmonic balancer on your old motors.

You'll want to switch those pumps over.

yes, that is where the raw water pump is, so no impeller in the leg unit then?

Volvo has NEVER put a raw water pump in the drive. Only Merc and OMC have pumps in the drives. Volvo pumps are always engine mounted.
Don't waste your time with that seloc manual, here is the link to the OEM manual.
