can someone tell me why i can go no more than 12mph. i just paid a guy for rebuild my engine (aq125a) 1984 volvo penta when i get engine back we conect everyting try to stared, backfire (bad timingg) fix then put it back on the water same problem same speed find bad spark plugs fix. carb. rebuild fix. and still no more than 12 mph at 4500 rpm and now getting over heat can you guys tell what to look for now?
