Anyone have any info on a good quality/non decorative pellet stove? One that is not anything to look at but would be good and reliable for a garage/workshop?

Having looked around a bit, I think alot of the cost is for the cosmetics.

How about just building one out of 10 gauge Boom?

Got a set of plans KB?

Thanks Roscoe. I saw those and was hoping that there might be something a little less dear. I did like that V300 model. 150 hrs of burn time but 2K-ouch!

I havn't done much investigation on the subject myself but thems are some good choices. B, they don't get much easier on the pocketbook. If you have the time to build one yourself look to MotherEarthNews, they have a lot of plans for a lot of diy stuff. ;)

Yeah they seem awful expensive for what you get.

You can buy a heck of a fancy gas furnace for 2 grand.
I only paid $600 for the lp furnace I put in 5 years ago.
