I have a 72 Merc. 9.8 hp model 110 serial number 3451925. It runs like a charm at idle all the way up to 3/4 throttle. Then the power just stops comming as the the throttle increases. My first thought was the high speed jet. I have cleaned the carb thoroughly and still the same thing. I also found a bad ignition coil and replaced the ignition module. So now Im thinking the high speed coil. Any suggestions would be great. Also, which one is the high speed it is it the one with the blue and yellow leads or the red and yellow leads? Thanks in advance for any help.
