I bought the boat with a locked up motor from water intake. Found a solid motor with great commpression out of another boat. I got the motor into my 21' striper , leveled. and started to wire..

My daughter who had cancer passed away a year ago Feb. 26th 2019. I lost interest in the boat and motor. Now things are not fresh in my mind anymore. I installed 2 new batteries, fully charged. I have a battery tender and a battery shutoff switch installed. The tender and the battery shutoff switch are installed.

I have a booster solonoid that has a lead goes to the starter. The lead from the batteries goes to the other side of the solonoid. There has to be other wires that attach to the solonoid to route power to the ignition switch. I am at a loose.

The solonoid works because I can jump to the starter and turn the motor over. I have one diaghram that shows the battery cable and yellow wires that goes to the ignition switch / fuse panel. I cannot find it..

I am enjoying working on it but electrical is my short coming. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jack

Ayuh,..... I don't do OMCs, but,..... there should be a heavier wire from the solenoid's battery post to the alternator, 'n the motor's harness,.....
Might be orange, or red,.....
