I have a 1995 Mercury 150 and thought that the starter selonoid was bad. Was told to jumper between starter positive and selonoid, if it started it was the selonoid and if not the starter. Well it started, but now nothing happens when I turn the igniton key or try to tilt then engine from any of three spots on the boat. All fuses in fuse box look good. Help!!! any Ideas?

fuses can sometimes look good but aren't an ohms meter will tell you if they are good. If they are check to see if you have power to them. If not trace back until you find power.

A fuse can be broken at the top...where you can't really see the filament. Just test them all

Had the same problem on an 84 Merc 135 V6. It was the fuse. If it not the fuse follow freddyray21 suggestion to trace until you find power.
