No power to trolling motor

I have a 1994 Minn Kota trolling motor with 48 pounds thrust. When I try to run it, the prop doesn't turn. I cleaned the terminals and connections, both batteries are fully charged, I had them load tested a couple days ago and were both good. I hooked up my battery charger to the cables that go to the battery on 2 amp and the trolling motor ran perfect. Its a 12 volt motor that I run on 2 12 volt deep cycle batteries. Anybody have any ideas?

RD,<br /><br />Obviously, there is nothinng wrong with the motor. Otherwise it wouldn't work on the battery charger.<br /><br />There is something wrong with your hook up.<br /><br />Can you describe how you have this hooked to the batteries?
