I recently adjusted my idle screw on the back of my 76/35hp johnson and it seem to idle better and run. When I took it out on the water it has no power. Hit the throttle and it either tries to stall out or just runs along at slow speed. Any ideas?
Make sure the gas tank is venting, and there are no air leaks,or kinks on the fuel lines. If this checks out, I would then suspect you have a dirty carb.
