2003 350 Merc , left stereo switch on for 1 week. Tried to start, no juice. Assumed battery needs charging. Did that plus tried extra battery. I get no sign of power to any switchs or engine.I checked fuses - all ok. I am new boat owner and am stumped

Re: No Power

Sorry I'm no help with this particular boat but when I have problems like this I break out the trusty test light or voltage meter and see where the juice stops. Start at the battery and work your way forward. Can't hurt, may just be a loose connection or a fuse you missed. Are the battery posts nice and clean?

Good luck!

Re: No Power

Sounds like your second battery may be toast as well. Take both of them in to an autoparts store and have them load test them. Your motor requires a lot of cranking amps so a slightly uncharged battery will not give you enough to start.
