No Power

G'day,<br />I have a 1978 Evinrude 25hp Ouboard. She starts fine and runs well ( on land). When out in the water she takes a while to give me full power. She will just idle and sputter with the throttle on full, every now and then she will go to full power and then die, after about half an hour of this she goes to full power and acts normal.....<br />Could anyone tell me what's going on? might be running on one cylinder most of the time. had a 40 sea king do this, carb float stuck and would flood the lower cylinder, ran fine on one till you put it in water with a load on it.

I would check for a bad ignigion coil, or a primer bulb with a defective valve. Had 2 defective primer bulbs lately, not OMC bulbs
